Tour Plan

Day 1 Cusco - Km 104 - Aguas Calientes

Around 4:00 am, we will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco. Then, we'll go by car to the Ollantaytambo train station, located in the Sacred Valley of the Incas. We'll take a train to Km 104 from there.

Once we reach Km 104, we will access the Inca Trail after going through a few security checks. Then, we will start a two-hour climb to the Wiรฑay Wayna Inca ruins. The Inca nobles used this location as a rest stop on their journey to Machu Picchu. We will eat lunch at a neighboring campground after exploring Wiรฑay Wayna.

Afterwards, we will hike to the Inti Punku, often referred to as the Sun Gate, a stone building that stands at the entrance to Machu Picchu. You'll see awe-inspiring sunset views of Machu Picchu after we arrive at Inti Punku. After that, we'll leave Machu Picchu and board a bus to Aguas Calientes.

Then, we will transport you to your hotel room. After that, you'll have some free time to stroll about town and check out the hot springs.

Day 2 Aguas Calientes - Machu Picchu - Cusco

After breakfast, we will check out of the hotel early in the morning. After that, we'll take a bus to Machu Picchu. We will enter the Inca citadel once we have cleared the security checks. You will then be given a thorough guided tour of Machu Picchu.

Machu Picchu is an ancient Inca site located in Peru. It was built around 1450 and abandoned a hundred years later when the Spanish conquered the region. The city was rediscovered in 1911 by Hiram Bingham, and since then it has become one of the most popular tourist destinations in South America.

Machu Picchu is an incredible example of Incan engineering and architecture, with terraces carved into steep mountainsides, temples dedicated to the ancient Inca gods, and water canals that still function today. Its stunning location high above the Urubamba Valley makes it a truly awe-inspiring sight to behold.

Our personnel will direct you to the appropriate entry if you have a ticket to the Huayna Picchu mountain or Machu Picchu mountain.

We'll take a bus back to Aguas Calientes town after the excursion. When you get there, you can stop for lunch at a local restaurant. The cost of the tour does not include lunch. Afterwards, we'll take a train to Ollantaytambo in the afternoon.

Our team will bring you back to your accommodation in Cusco city after you reach Ollantaytambo. We will be arriving at Cusco city around 10:00 pm.
