Inca Trail Treks

Cusco hotel transfer
6:00 am
We will take you up from your Cusco hotel at 6:00 a.m. Then we will travel to Ollantaytambo, a small town in the Inca Sacred Valley. Once there, we'll take a train to Kilometer 82, the entrance to Machu Picchu.
We will enter the Inca Trail after passing through a security checkpoint at Km 82. First, we'll hike to the Miskay campground, where we'll eat lunch. We'll walk to the Patallaqta Inca ruins after lunch.
Then we'll climb to Wayllabamba town and the Inca ruins of Patawasi. When we get there, we'll set up camp near Wayllabamba. Finally, we'll have dinner and spend the night in our tents.
After breakfast, we'll depart our campsite early in the morning. Then, we will hike to Warmiwañusca or "Death Woman's Pass". This mountain pass is the Inca Trail's highest point. It is situated at a height of 4200 meters (13779 feet) above sea level.
After passing through Warmiwausca, we will descend to the Pacaymayo campground for lunch. We'll spend the remainder of the afternoon at the campsite after lunch. We'll have a great dinner before heading to bed.
After breakfast, we'll depart our campsite early in the morning. We will next walk to the Runcuracay Pass, which is 3950 meters (12959 feet) above sea level. We will descend to the Sayacmarca Inca ruins after traversing this mountain pass, and then to Phuyupatamarka. We'll stop for lunch at Phuyupatamarka.
After lunch, we will trek to the Intipata Inca terraces. Then we'll head to Wiñay Wayna. You will be given a brief tour of the Inca ruins. Following that, we will set up our tents on a nearby campsite, and spend the night there.
We'll eat breakfast first thing in the morning, about 5:30 a.m. Then we'll leave the campsite and climb to Inti Punku, Machu Picchu's historic gateway.
We will eventually enter the ancient Inca city of Machu Picchu after passing through the Inti Punku. Then you will be taken on a guided tour of the city's most notable landmarks. Among other Inca structures, you will visit the Main Temple, the Temple of the Sun, and the Temple of the Three Windows. If you have purchased a ticket to Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu, our staff will direct you to the respective entry.
Following the trip, we will take a bus to Aguas Calientes. You will have time to eat lunch at a local restaurant once we arrive there. The tour price does not include lunch.
We'll take a train to Ollantaytambo in the afternoon. When we arrive there, our personnel will transport you back to your accommodation in Cusco. We will be arriving at Cusco approximately at 10:00 p.m.
