Upon selecting a program, it is important to thoroughly examine the terms and conditions, as your booking will be subject to these specific regulations. Completing a payment for any program or trip via “Andean Trekking Peru” signifies your agreement and obligation to follow these terms, which are applicable to all tours.
General Information:
Changes to itineraries for programs may become necessary due to factors like weather, river conditions, or the preferences of the group. “Andean Trekking Peru” bears no responsibility for any personal property loss or damage, nor for any illness or accidents associated with the tour. Costs incurred from such events will be the responsibility of the clients. Clients are also accountable for any borrowed equipment and must reimburse for any damages or losses before their return to Cusco. It is the clients’ responsibility to ensure they are physically and mentally prepared for the tour, with “Andean Trekking Peru” not being liable for any misrepresentations regarding this readiness.
Reservation Steps:
Please consult with us for advice before making any payments. To secure your chosen program, a non-refundable deposit of 50% per participant is needed. Finalizing your payment constitutes a formal agreement with “Andean Trekking Peru,” with your reservation being confirmed once we provide written acknowledgment.
For the initial deposit, payment methods include WESTERN UNION, PAYPAL, or other online services. Clients are to bear any associated bank fees or transfer costs.
Payment of Final Balance:
All fees are quoted in U.S. dollars. The remaining balance should be paid at our office at least one day prior to your tour start date, in Peruvian soles, U.S. dollars, or through Visa (which incurs an 8% charge). The price per person agreed upon during booking is unchangeable.
Client Cancellation:
For cancellations, a written notification must be sent to “Andean Trekking Peru.” The initial deposit is non-refundable. We advise checking your insurance for possible coverage for cancellation reasons.
Cancellations made more than 15 days before departure will result in a 50% deposit loss. For cancellations made between 7 and 15 days before departure, if full payment has been completed, 50% of the total cost will be reimbursed. No refunds will be provided for cancellations made less than 48 hours before departure or for partial tour cancellations.
Alterations/Cancellations by Us:
Should unforeseen circumstances like technical problems, adverse weather conditions, strikes, governmental actions, or civil disturbances occur, “Andean Trekking Peru” will strive to offer alternative arrangements or equivalent trips without providing refunds. Adjustments to the itinerary might be necessary, yet we aim to deliver the agreed services.
Significant modifications will be communicated prior to your trip, with similar alternative plans proposed. Any extra expenses resulting from these changes will be the client’s responsibility. We cannot offer compensation for costs associated with international flights, visas, vaccinations, etc.
If “Andean Trekking Peru” cancels a tour, a full refund will be issued.

Our tours aim to provide authentic experiences, which inherently carry risks such as injury, emotional distress, or death. By participating, individuals accept these risks and affirm their health and physical fitness for the tour. “Andean Trekking Peru” is not accountable for any accidents or injuries that may occur.
Tour Leadership:
The guide or company representative holds final authority on matters of safety and the well-being of the group. Compliance with their instructions and adherence to the drug laws of Peru is mandatory. Actions compromising the safety of the group can lead to expulsion from the tour without a refund.

A valid passport is required, and it is advised to carry the original or a copy during excursions.
